Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today presided over the meeting to review the preparedness arrangements for Golden Jubilee Celebration of Statehood Day function to be organized at The Ridge Shimla on 25th January.

Chief Minister said that the event should be held in a befitting manner which would be graced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda.

Jai Ram Thakur said that coffee table book and documentary being prepared on the occasion should have a vivid description of the 50 years of glorious journey of the State in different sectors. He said that the State Government had also decided to bring out a special stamp to mark the occasion.Chief Minister said that effective media plan must be chalked out to highlight the developmental journey of the State.

Chief Secretary Anil Khachi, DGP Sanjay Kundu, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue R.D. Dhiman, Principal Secretaries J.C. Sharma and Onkar Sharma, Special Secretary Rakesh Kanwar, Director Information and Public Relations Harbans Singh Brascon, Director LAC Suneel Sharma, Joint Secretary GAD Sachin Kanwal and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
