PM Modi’s stubborn attitude shows he is not serious about farmers: Brahmpura
Chandigarh
Due to unfortunate policies of the Union Government on anti-farmer bills, the farming community as well as the general public have been protesting against the Modi government for a long time in severe cold weather in which many valuable lives have been lost which is very tragic and unfortunate.

In a press statement issued from a party headquarters here today, Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) President and former Member of Parliament Ranjit Singh Brahmpura slammed the Union Government. Elaborating, he said that the peasant movement in India started from Punjab and today a nationwide movement has been established and if the central government admits its mistakes and does not find a proper solution, the agitation will only get bigger, which makes it clear that the central government does not want to give up its stubborn attitude.

The call of January 26 given by the farmers will prove to be historic as it is the largest movement so far which is going on completely peacefully and some people are deliberately accusing and replacing this tranquil movement with anti-national activities which is very unfortunate and is a low-level politics that should be avoided, “he stated.

Sincerely advising PM Narendra Modi, Brahmpura said that the people have the power to form the government and if the government does not live up to the expectations of the people, it will drive them out of power which is becoming possible in the days of Modi regime. For this reason, the farm laws which are against the people of India as well as the farmers should be repealed with immediate effect.

Brahmpura reviewed the fact that PM Narendra Modi’s stubborn attitude is responsible for turning this movement into a great change. This is not only hurting the Indian industry but also the traders who are importing and exporting goods from India to various corners of the globe which is having a direct detrimental effect on the Indian economy.

Brahmpura also lamented that PM Narendra Modi was witnessing incidents of violence and protests in foreign lands but he do not feel the pain of the farmers of his own country nor do he have a pro-farmer ideology which are very unknown comparisons.

Brahmpura lauded the farmers’ movement and said that the farmers have so far maintained this movement in a very peaceful manner. Finally, he said that the Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) strongly condemns the anti-farmer ordinances of the Central Government which was passed by the BJP in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha without any thought which are being forcibly placed on the foreheads of the common people.
