Chairman of Punjab Gau Seva Commission Mr. Sachin Sharma has appealed to the farmers, cattle rearers and people associated with dairy farming business in the state to shift the non-milch cattle to cow sheds instead of leaving them unclaimed.
The chairman said that in addition to building sheds for cow farming under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, the Punjab Government, besides providing green fodder, sawdust, better health services and making cow sheds self-reliant, Gaudhan Health Welfare Camps are being set up Huh. Along with this, the Sahiwal breed of Gaudhan is being swell in the state.
Mr. Sachin Sharma has informed the dairy industry by the Gau Seva Commission that he should not leave his animals in the streets or streets without being milch. Because these destitute animals themselves become victims of road accidents, they also cause loss of life and property for common people.
Mr. Sharma said that the owners of all the dairies of the state, with the help of deputy directors of their respective animal husbandry department, send such animals to the cowsheds which have been denied milk. He said that while his cooperation will benefit the people of Gaudhan, the people of Punjab will also get relief.
