Prime Minister Narendra Modi today visited historic Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in New Delhi where the pious Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s mortal remains were cremated. The Prime Minister paid tribute to the courageous Guru Teg Bahadur who made supreme sacrifice for a noble cause, a few centuries ago.
In a tweet, PM Modi said, he felt extremely blessed as he and millions around the world are deeply inspired by the kindness of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur. He said, it is the blessing of the Guru Sahib that the country will mark the special occasion of the 400th Parkash Parv of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur during NDA Government’s tenure. PM Modi said, let us mark this blessed occasion in a historic manner and celebrate the ideals of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.
