Nation pays homage to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on his 70th death anniversary today. He was first Deputy Prime Minister of India and also held the Home portfolio. Fondly known as Iron Man of India, he brought together more than 500 princely States with India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his death anniversary today PM Modi tweeted,
“He is the iron man who laid the foundation of a strong, empowered and prosperous India. His path will always inspire us to protect the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.”
Home Minister Amit Shah has paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his death anniversary today. In a tweet, Mr Shah said that the life and personality of Sardar Patel cannot be dercribed in words. Home Minister said, Sardar Patel is the symbol of unity and power of India who solved complex problems and shaped an united India.
Paying his tributes to Sardar Patel, the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, the people of India will always remain grateful to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for uniting the county post Independence and tremendous contribution to building a new India. I bow to Sardar Patel on his punyatithi.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his death anniversary at Hazratganj in Lucknow.
