Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori on Thursday asked the revenue officers to develop a viable mechanism for facilitating the people by resolving the pending cases regarding the division of property at the earliest.
Presiding over the monthly review meeting here at District Administrative Complex today, the Deputy Commissioner said that the revenue officers must ensure there was minimum pendency in such cases, so as to avoid any sort of inconvenience to the people. He said that those cases where all the stakeholders have already given their assent for such mutual divisions must be disposed of on top priority.
The Deputy Commissioner said that any sort of laxity on part of the officers in this regard would not be tolerated at any cost.
He also asked the officers to issue notices to wilful defaulters and expedite the process of recovery from them. The Deputy Commissioner said that concerted efforts need to be done for recovering these payments from the defaulters at the earliest.
He also asked the officers to adopt the humane approach for issuing dependent certificates to the people at the earliest.
Ghanshyam Thori also asked all the officers to ensure timely submission of reports sought from them. He said that all the officers should ensure that the reports reach his office in the prescribed format within the stipulated time frame.
